Cholesterol in blood is synonyms for heart attack. Whenever we hear the word cholesterol we think about the bad one which affects our blood vessels and eventually leads to heart attack.
There are two types of Cholesterol in our body. One is high-density lipoprotein (HDL, or good cholesterol) and another is low-density lipoprotein (LDL, or bad cholesterol).
Good Cholesterol is a crucial body component. Cholesterol insulates nerve cells in your brain and provides structure for cell membranes. That’s why you make the white, waxy substance (about 75% of the cholesterol in your blood is made by the liver and cells elsewhere in your body).
The Bad Cholesterol LDL can stick to the smooth lining of the blood vessels, where it is absorbed. HDL appears to do the opposite—it actually mops up excess cholesterol and removes it from the blood vessels.
Due to LDL the bloods vessels may get thicken or blocked which will result in less blood supply. If the blood supply is affected to the brain, the part of the body which is controlled by the brain part will get paralyzed. If it is affecting heart then we may get heart attack. Like this many other parts of the body can affected due LDL accumulation in blood vessel.
Yoga and Ayurveda treatment for bad cholesterol 
Ayurveda treatment is a best way to prevent bad cholesterol, and yoga asana and mudra is also useful to prevent Cholesterol. Now look at how yoga and Ayurveda is helpful to prevent cholesterol.
LDL(bad cholesterol) can be  controlled by simple  diet  changes ,yoga and exercises..
Try to include fibre rich foods in your diet. Fibre foods are known  for cleaning the blood vessels.While increasing the fibre food make sure you increase your water intake as well. Also, it’s better to increase slowly, to give your body time to adjust and avoid stomach problems
Try to include fruits,leafy vegetables and raw fruits in your  daily diet. Try to avoid Oil fried foods or take less to avoid accumulation of LDL in the body.
Daily morning walking or jogging or swimming will reduce the cholesterol level from our body. A good work out can not be substituted for any medicine.
Ayurveda medicine for blood vessel purification(ayurved choornam to reduce cholesterol level)
Take Guggulu 50 gm powder.
Take Pushkarmula, Paushkar 50 gm powder.
Take Kushtha (chengalava kost)  50 gm powder.
Take Gokshura 50 gm powder .
Take Triphala 50 gm powder.
Mix will all the above powder and keep it air tight sealed bottle.
Taking half teaspoon power mixed with Luke warm water daily twice(morning and night for 4 to 6 months will reduce the cholesterol level in the body and purifies the blood vessels
